The city of Nashville will be having their “All Trash Days” this upcoming Saturday, October 28th, Wednesday, November 1st and Saturday, November 4th. Items that want to be disposed of must be taken to the collection site near the Compost and Brush sites at the end of North Washington Street. Dumping will be allowed by Nashville residents only and it will only be accepted on those 3 days. No roofing materials, shingles, concrete, demolitions, hazardous waste, nuclear waste of any kind, liquid waste, such as paint, paint thinner or oil, medical waste, grease trap waste, which includes automobile or kitchen, tires, yard waste like grass clippings or limbs, batteries, mattresses, box springs or any type of electronics will not be accepted. White goods, such as refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, ac units, dehumidifiers, ovens, stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, water coolers, heat pumps, chillers, furnaces and boilers will be accepted. These should be left outside the dumpsters and will be disposed of separately. Note that doors must be removed from all refrigerators and freezers. The city of Nashville asks for your cooperation by not bringing in any of the items listen earlier. If you have any questions of acceptable items, contact Mayor Erik Rolf at 327-30-58. That number again is 327-30-58 if you have any questions in regard to items that will be accepted and not accepted during the all trash days in Nashville. Those dates again are on Saturday, October 28th, Wednesday, November 1st and Saturday, November 4th from 8 to 4pm at the Compost and Brush sites at the end of North Washington Street in Nashville. The recycling truck will also be on site on November 1st and 4th.
