Amelia Earhart has been found and will be at the Nashville Public Library tonight.  Reports in the last year or so, have some remains being found on an island, believed to be Earhart’s.  Regardless if this is true, you can learn the history of Amelia Earhart, as Barbara Kay, a retired Highland High School history teacher portrays the female aviator.  The presentation begins at 7 o’clock and is free to the public.  Earhart is known as being the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and setting many other records.  She disappeared in 1937 over the central Pacific Ocean.  There will be refreshments, so call 327-3827 to see if there is still seating available.
