The Washington County Highway Department has announced that they will replace an existing bridge in Oakdale, with the tree clearing being the initial phase of the replacement.  In order to minimize the adverse impacts to the traveling public, and for safety to the workers, McKinley Road, between Oakdale Cemetery Road and Truman Road, will be closed to traffic at the location during the work.  McKinley Road will be closed to traffic starting today and lasting through Wednesday, March 6^th, weather depending.  The closure will be from 7am until 4pm.  Lake Contracting of Addieville will be the contractor for the project, and residents who have concerns of the project can contact them at 618-327-33-22.  That again is a road closure at McKinley Road in Oakdale, starting today and lasting until Wednesday, March 6^th from 7am until 4pm, for a replacement of an existing bridge.
