A Centralia woman has been charged in Clinton County Court with aggravated battery to a police officer, after she allegedly stomped on his foot and attempted to defecate on the officer, while being arrested.  According to police, they responded to the Best Western Motel to arrest 36-year-old Rebekah Rohde, in regard to a Marion County warrant, when they found a box of documents in a room there, that included pieces of mail and cash in another person’s name.  Police then stopped Rohde and a male, who were walking down Jolliff Bride Road, when the two denied any knowledge of the items left in the room.  As Rohde was being taken into custody, she reportedly became combative and jumped up and onto the arresting officer’s foot, then later attempted to defecate on the same officer.  She was then taken into the Clinton County Jail, where she was formally charged with a Class 2 felony for aggravated battery to a peace officer and a misdemeanor for resisting arrest.  Police continued to search for the person whose name appeared on the documents and say that more than $1,000 was found with those documents.
