Governor Bruce Rauner has announced that he is willing to call a special legislative session to force lawmakers to approve a budget before the fiscal year ends at the end of this month on June 30th.  Rauner has been blasting Democrats because they have been wasting time for holding hearings on the harm that has been occurring due to the lack of a budget.  He states that he is thinking of those agencies that are at a disadvantage, including the ones he and his wife have been supporting for years.  House Democrat Greg Harris predicts that a quick action on a possible budget can be done before the month ends, but it means nothing unless governor Bruce Rauner signs it.  Rauner continues to stand his ground on taking no deal that includes a hike in taxes.
