Johnsonville, LLC, which is a company based out of Wisconsin, is recalling approximately 95,393 pounds of its ready-to-eat jalapeno cheddar smoked sausage products, which could be contaminated with hard green plastic.  This was according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food, Safety and Inspection Service.  The jalapeno cheddar smoked sausage items were produced and packaged back on march 12th and 13th of this year, with the products subjected to the recall being the 14-oz film, vacuum packages containing Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar smoked sausage.  Their best by dates on the package were June 9th, 2019.  The products subjected to the recall also have the establishment number est. 3-4-2-2-4, inside of the USDA mark of inspection.  These items were shipped out nationwide and internationally.  Again those are the jalapeno cheddar smoked sausage 14-oz items from Johnsonville, which are ready-to-eat, and best by dates of June 9th, 2019.
