A jury trail has been set for June 10th, in regard to a Centralia man who was charged with a January shooting along the 700 block of Razback Street in Centralia, leading to a 28-year-old St. Louis man being hospitalized with gunshot injuries.  The defense attorney for 33-year-old Bart Brown will has his trial prepared in Marion County court.  Brown is facing charges including a Class X felony for aggravated battery with a discharge of a firearm, Class 1 felony for aggravated discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle or structure, Class 2 felony for possession of a firearm with a prior conviction, and a Class 3 felony for possession of a firearm.  He is accused of shooting 28-year-old Justin McMath in the shoulder with a shotgun, back on New Year’s Day.  The shooting reportedly occurred in Brown’s back yard.  At the time Brown was deemed armed and dangerous, with Brown eventually turning himself in the next day.
