Nashville District #49 is having their Kindergarten Registration for the 2018-2019 school year at the Nashville Primary School Office from now until and 530pm. Only parents are required to attend, so the incoming student does not need to be present. Any child entering Kindergarten must be at least 5-years-old on or before September 1st. Parents are also required to submit a copy of the child’s certified birth certificate and a verification of in-district residency. Illinois State School Code requires a copy of the birth certificate upon registration, therefore, the district cannot accept the hospital certificate. Parents who know their child will be attending Nashville Primary School next fall must fill out a registration packet. For more information, give the school a call at 618-327-43-04, extension 100. All paperwork, which includes an enrollment form, residency form with proof of a driver’s license with your current address, a birth certificate, a kindergarten physical and a verified copy of immunization records must be in before the 1st day of kindergarten. Again, that day of registration for Kindergarten at Nashville District 49 is today from now to 530pm.
