A Centralia man was officially sentenced on Tuesday, inside the Marion County court, to 5-years in prison, after he entered a plea agreement on 3 separate felony drug and battery cases. 22-year-old Harrion Hawkins of Centralia, was admitted to a petition to revoke his probation in a 2017 heroin possession case. The judge officially sentenced him to 3-years at the Illinois Department of Corrections. That sentence will be served concurrently with 2 other sentences, one for 5-years in a 2017 case for an aggravated battery to a police officer, and one for 5-years in a 2018 case of heroin. Hawkins plead guilty to the last two cases, with all 3 sentences to be served concurrently with day for day credit and time already served. More than $630 was seized at the time of the 2018 arrest. Hawkins will also have to serve a one-year mandatory supervised release, once he completes his sentence.
