The Nashville Police Department responded to 20 calls this past week in our area. On Monday, October 16th, officers responded to State Route 127, at Richview Road, where there was a pedestrian under the influence. Also that Monday, officers responded to the 700 block of South Mill Street, in regard to a domestic dispute. On Tuesday, October 17th, there were two difference cases that occurred. The 1st one was along the 800 block of South Mill Street, where there was a report of a credit card fraud. Case number 2 was in regard to loitering. Officers were called to the 200 block of East St. Louis Street to fix the problem. On Wednesday, October 18th, officers responded to Casey’s General Store in Nashville after a report of a suspicious male subject was called in. The male left the store without paying for merchandise and police were able to arrest the suspect. 38-year-old Nicholas Pinkerton of Kentucky was taken in by officers, where staff at Casey’s advised that they wished to file charges against Nicholas on the theft. Pinkerton was then arrested for retail theft and taken to the Washington County Jail. A traffic stop on Thursday leads to the arrest of a Nashville resident. 27-year-old Sean Kniser was pulled over on Thursday at 152pm, after a traffic violation. Sean was booked for no valid driver’s license and for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. His other charge was for operating an uninsured vehicle. He was then taken to the Washington County Jail, where he was placed on a felony hold. A report came in along the 10,000 block of State Route 127, where a vehicle was stuck in a ditch on Saturday. Also on Saturday, a theft was reported along the 1300 block of South Mill Street.
