The Nashville Police Department responded to 19 calls this last week.  On Wednesday, January 2nd, officers issued 2 traffic citations, following a traffic stop along State Route 127.  Officers pulled a vehicle over at around 915pm near Mockingbird Road, where the officer found out that the driver was driving while having a revoked license and for operating an uninsured vehicle.  The driver was arrested, who was identified as 39-year-old Michael Blakemore of Mt. Vernon, who also was issued a verbal warning for having no rear registration light and for failure to signal when required.  Nashville Officers also assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, after a truck and trailer was losing items on Interstate 64.  Officers observed the vehicle and trailer, which stopped at PrintCrazy near the interstate, and told the driver that he lost washers and dryers.  55-year-old Julius Holtgrave was notified and told to retrieve the potential hazardous items off of the interstate.  There also was a minor traffic crash that happened on Sunday, January 6th.  Trisha Figura, of Nashville, was attempting to back out of her driveway along the intersection of West Belleville Street and South Washington Street, when she ended up striking Meghan Haglund, who was going eastbound on West Belleville Street.  No injuries were reported.
