Three motorcyclists were injured on Saturday afternoon, while traveling with a group of 50 or 60 others, along US Route 51 north of Centralia.  According to Illinois State Police, at around 322pm on Saturday, one of the 3 bikers was attempting to pass others in the group, near Community Beach Road, which caused the other 2 men to lose control of their bikes, after he merged back into the group.  ISP says that 47-year-old David Cluck, of Centralia, needed to be airlifted to a St. Louis hospital following the crash, with 38-year-old Jeremy Hagen, of Clay City, and 41-year-old James Riddle, of Louisville, Kentucky, both being treated at a local hospital.  Hagen was ticketed by police for driving while having a suspended license and for having no valid insurance.  This crash is still under investigation by police, with US 51 being closed to traffic from Community Beach Street to Bethel Road, while officials were at the scene.
