A jury trial date has been set in Washington County, in regard to a Wamac man being charged with multiple child sex offenses.  69-year-old Henry Michael Wolenhaupt was arrested back in August 2018, where he was charged with 2 Class 1 felony counts of sexual assault of a family member under 18-years-old, and 3 Class 2 felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse to a family member under 18.  Following his arrest, Wolenhaupt was pleading not guilty to the charges.  That led to a preliminary hearing and a 1st court appearance with his private attorney.  For month after his arrest, Wolenhaupt searched for an attorney to represent him, but since he could not find one, he was given a court-appointed attorney.  His final pre-trial hearing will be on January 18th, with all final motions in the case and jury instructions being submitted by January 15th.  Wolenhaupt remains at the Washington County jail with bail at $200,000.
