A jury trial date has been set in Washington County, in regard to a Wamac man being charged with multiple child sex offenses.  69-year-old Henry Michael Wolenhaupt was arrested back in August 2018, where he was charged with 2 Class 1 felony counts of sexual assault of a family member under 18-years-old, and 3 Class 2 felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse to a family member under 18.  Following his arrest, Wolenhaupt was pleading not guilty to the charges.  That led to a preliminary hearing and a 1^st court appearance with his private attorney.  For month after his arrest, Wolenhaupt searched for an attorney to represent him, but since he could not find one, he was given a court-appointed attorney.  His final pre-trial hearing will be on January 18^th, with all final motions in the case and jury instructions being submitted by January 15^th.  Wolenhaupt remains at the Washington County jail with bail at $200,000.
