Washington County Hospital in Nashville is being recognized for their ongoing commitment for exceptional quality of care by the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network. They officially recognized WCH during a ceremony in Champaign on October 29th. As part of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program, WCH and other critical access hospitals were asked to voluntarily participate in 4 defined domains of quality outcomes. That included Patient and Impatient Safety, Patient Engagement, Care Transitions and Outpatient Measures. Washington County Hospital was recognized for their quality of care and for participating in all 4 domains. ICAHN is located in Princeton and is a network of 57 small rural Illinois hospitals, who are dedicated in strengthening the operations of their member hospitals.
