The Nashville Hornette golf team won the Class 1A State Championship over the weekend, leading all the way.  They finished 19 strokes ahead of their nearest competition.  Shawn Rennegarbe finished 4th and Natalie Johnson was 5th.

 

Meanwhile, the Hornet golf team finished 3rd in the Class 1A State Championship, after being in 10th after the 1st round.  They finished the tournament 11 strokes off the lead after being down 22 after the 1st round.

 

 

The Nashville Hornet football team lost to 22 to 17 to DuQuoin Friday night.

 

 

The Nashville Hornettes volleyball placed 7th in the Monster Mash Tournament over the weekend in Breese, going 3 and 2.  They lost in 2 sets to Waterloo, but beat Teutopolis in 2 sets Friday night.  Then on Saturday, they beat Collinsville in 3 sets, but lost to Central in 2 sets.  They played Marion in the 7th place game and won in 2 sets.  The Hornettes are in action again tonight in Carlyle with the call on the V and v1047.com with Dennis Kellerman.
