Carrol Lee Millenbine, 82, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at McLeansboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in McLeansboro, IL.

Carrol was born in McLeansboro, IL on February 24, 1940 the son of Fred and Ruby (Thomas) Millenbine.  On June 23, 1961 he married Patsy Jean (Ingram) Millenbine, who survives.

Carrol was a farmer for many years, and was also a former board member on the Hamilton Memorial Hospital board.  He was a former member of Smith’s Chapel Church at Blairsville.  He loved bird hunting, raccoon hunting, camping, and working on the farm.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Carrol is survived by his wife Patsy Millenbine of McLeansboro, 2 sons: Gregory Millenbine and Robert Millenbine, both of McLeansboro, 2 granddaughters: Brandi (Joe) Rieken and Amber Millenbine, 6 great-grandchildren: Nyah Rieken, Nate Millenbine, Vada Rieken, Carter Rieken, Emmett Goostree, and Archer.  He is also survived by a brother Larry “Spud” Millenbine of McLeansboro, a sister Sue (Vernice “Buddy”) Thomas of Springerton, IL; 3 sister-in-laws: Brenda Ingram of Carmi, IL; Connie (Gary) McMahon of McLeansboro, and Pam Neff of McLeansboro; 4 brother-in-laws: Jack (Dona) Ingram of McLeansboro, Darrell (Terry) Ingram of Springville, TN; Franklin (Linda) Ingram of Freelandville, IN; and Benny Ingram of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred & Ruby Millenbine, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul & Lena Ingram, 2 brother-in-laws: Rick Ingram and Carl Ingram, and 2 nephews: Nathan Ingram and Benjamin Ingram.

Graveside funeral services for Carrol Lee Millenbine will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Old Springer Cemetery in Blairsville, IL with Pastor Larry Woodrow officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
