CENTRALIA — Bond was set at $100,000 Wednesday in Marion County Court for a 43-year-old Odin man accused of meth-related offenses.

According to Centralia police, around 3 p.m. Tuesday, they stopped a vehicle for alleged improper lane usage and Randle Giller was a passenger in that vehicle.

Giller is currently on parole for 2015 Marion County convictions for of delivery of between 100 and 400 grams of methamphetamine and possession of less than 5 grams of meth.

Due to Giller’s parole status, he was removed from the vehicle and subjected to a search of his person that reportedly revealed 18.4 grams of a substance that field tested positive as meth and three capsules believed to be fentanyl.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail and was formally charged in Marion County Court Wednesday with Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of meth, Class 1 felony possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth, and Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

Giller is due back in court on March 21 for a preliminary hearing and first appearance with counsel in the case.
