FAYETTE COUNTY — Just one day after attorneys in a Fayette County case accusing three Vandalia residents of operating a child pornography ring, one of the three defendants has scheduled a May hearing date to possibly plead guilty.

Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office conducted an investigation into an alleged child pornography ring operating in Fayette County, which resulted in the indictments of 46-year-old Ferrell Kissiar, 38-year-old Amber Wehrle, and her 39-year-old husband Andrew Wehrle.

On Monday attorneys in the case informed the court they’re all ready to move forward toward a June jury trial against the three defendants. While the three were charged separately, they previously agreed to join their cases and be tried together.

On Tuesday, however, Amber Wehrle informed the court she may be prepared to enter into a plea agreement in the case against her. Her husband and Kissiar, a former assistant pastor at a Patoka church, remain scheduled for a June 7 final pretrial on the charges against them.
