DAMIANSVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that bridge repairs on eastbound Interstate 64 approximately 1.5 miles west of the Albers Road interchange (exit 34) in Clinton County will require one lane to be closed beginning, weather permitting, Saturday, June 3. Westbound I-64 will be unaffected.

Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage, consider alternate routes, and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.

The closure will last through the weekend, until Sunday, June 4.
