A 24-year old Saint Louis man was arraigned Friday on a four count Indictment charging him with two counts of Interference with Commerce by Robbery, violations of the Hobbs Act, and two counts of Carrying and Using a Firearm during a Crime of Violence.  The charges stem from two armed robberies of Advanced Auto Parts stores in Collinsville and Belleville in April 2015.  If convicted of the Hobbs Act charges, Michael D. Dean, faces a term in federal prison of not more than 20 years, a fine of up to $250,000 and a term of supervised release of not more than three years on each offense.  If convicted of both counts of Carrying and Using a Firearm during a Crime of Violence, Dean faces a minimum term of imprisonment of 32 years to run consecutive to, or in addition to, any term of imprisonment on the Hobbs Act charges.
