The Nashville Chamber of Commerce held their General Membership meeting yesterday. It was reported that the bills were paid and the minutes were presented. Farmer’s Market began last week with 5 producers, but Director Doris Povolish reported that she has gotten more calls from others wanting to sell their products. The golf tournament is on Friday, June 3rd and there are now 8 teams. Hole sponsorships are still available, and donations for the individual gift bags are also being accepted, as well as any larger item for a drawing. To get signed up, call the Chamber office at 327-3700. Board member, Jim Dalaviras will be resigning on May 31st, so a new member is needed. Cathy Dinkelman volunteered for the position, so the Board will discuss that at their next meeting. Board member Letisha Luecking Orlet volunteered to be the new Secretary. Povolish reported that membership is now up to 121, 10 more than last year. Next month’s General Membership meeting will be on June 8th at noon at Buretta’s in downtown Nashville.
