A woman from Centralia is at the Marion County Jail, after she was arrested on Wednesday for a morning shooting incident.  32-year-old Dominika Belt, of Centralia, was arrested and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and for criminal damage to state supported property.  Centralia Police Chief Brian Atchison says that a dispatch officer received a call at around 930am on Wednesday, form an occupant of a duplex, saying that their neighbor was outside shooting at their home.  The female caller and a male resident of the home reported that there was a verbal altercation with Belt earlier in the morning, which eventually led to 2 rounds of gunfire that was fired through their windows.  The rounds struck the interior walls, while a 3rd shot struck the brick exterior of the home.  Officers reportedly recovered the 2 shots, with one believed to have been used during the incident.  No injuries were reported and Belt was taken into custody.  Also the Marion County Housing Authority had surveillance cameras at the housing complex, so dispatchers were able to maneuver to the cameras and track the subject’s movements.
