County voters will be heading for the consolidated election today from 6am to 7pm, with a few contested races in our area.  In Du Bois, the unofficial winners were Mark Klaybor, Raymond Klaybor and Jeannette Bochantin.  Nicholas Ketterhagen lost by only 3 votes.  For Hoyleton village trustees, newcomers Kristine Schnitker and Adam Brammeier, along with incumbent Frank Tomasek, were the winners.  The 3 Villlage trustee spots for the village of Oakdale are incumbents Sherrie Kroener, Cindy Harre, and Melissa Turner were the winners, with Marty Boling receiving 12-percent of the voting.  Out of the 4 candidates for the West Washington County School Board in Okawville, the winners included incumbents Paul Jansen and Dennis Lintker, along with Mary “Cathy” Cook, who received 282 votes.  Ryan Welch was also on the ballot, who fell short with 234 votes.  All other voting that was conducted was uncontested races, including Ashley councilmen, Nashville aldermen, Du Bois village president and village clerk, Memorial Park trustees and president, along with trustees in Addieville, Irvington, New Minden, Okawville, Radom, Richview, and Venedy.  Uncontested School board voting includes Oakdale, Irvington, Ashley, St. Libory, and Nashville District 49 and 99.  Voter registration will reopen on Thursday, April 4th, with the last day of canvassing of Election happening on Tuesday, April 23rd
