A man from Marion has been charged with unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and 2 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  The 4-count indictment against 28-year-old Jonathan Garrison alleges that the offenses took place between November 13th and December 19th, 2018, inside of Franklin county and Williamson County.  Garrison made his initial appearance in federal court earlier this week, where he was pleading not guilty on the charges.  The offenses he faces carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, 3 years of mandatory supervised release and a fine up to $250,000.  The investigation was conducted by the Marion Police Department, the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force, the West Frankfort Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
