OFFICIALS RELEASE NAMES OF SANDOVAL BROTHERS KILLED IN SUNDAY CRASH

CLINTON COUNTY — Authorities have released the names of two Sandoval residents killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night that sent a third resident to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Clinton County Coroner Phillip Moss confirmed that 11-year-old Adler Waterbury and his big brother 19-year-old Gage Rollinson were pronounced dead at the crash scene at the new U.S. 50 at Shoal Creek Bridge near Breese. A second passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Kaleb Calhoun was airlifted from the scene to St. Louis University Hospital for treatment.

The Rollinson vehicle reportedly collided head-on with a pickup truck on the Shoal Creek Bridge during a heavy thunderstorm. That section of highway was closed for several hours between Breese and Stolletown Road while first responders worked.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department has not yet released any information regarding the crash.
