With the primary happening on March 20th, 2018, multiple officials are seeking re-election in our area. One county office will see competition in Washington County during that election. Natalie Lynch and Linda Unverfehrt, both Republicans, have filed their tickets to run for the Washington County Treasurer. The County Sheriff includes Len Campbell, who is running unopposed. Current Sheriff Danny Bradac is not seeking re-election. Other County positions include Nancy Heseman for County Clerk and Sharon “Harre” Mewes for County Assessor, who are both running un-opposed. For Washington County Board, there is only one democrat, Raymond Kostecki, on the ballot for 2 positions in District One. On the Republican ballot, the two candidates for the 2 positions in District 1 are Gene Lamczyk and Gary Suedmeyer.
