Two people were arrested this past weekend in Marion County, after one of the men was in the process of burglarizing a farm in rural Iuka.  Reports say that 44-year-old William Wright, of Odin, was the 1st of two that were arrested, after deputies watched him attempt to break into a barn outside of Iuka.  When Wright was spotted, he allegedly attempted to run away, but was caught following a foot pursuit.  Deputies responded to the farm after being told that a car was seen in the area, which allegedly returned.  Several hours after Wright’s arrest, deputies again returned to the location, when the same suspicious vehicle was seen back in the area, possibly in an attempt to pick Wright up.  Deputies then stopped the vehicle, and found burglary tools and property inside, which reportedly were used in earlier burglaries.  Wrights older brother, 46-year-old Lee Wright, of Centralia, was then arrested and charged with a Class 2 felony for burglary.  Both will remain inside the Marion County Jail.
