It’s not only Homecoming Weekend for the current students of Nashville Community High School, but for anyone who has attended NCHS.  This Saturday is the All School Homecoming event at the Nashville Community Center parking lot.  Co-director Danny Dlubala tells WNSV that the idea is for adults to come together for their own party, while the high schoolers have their own.  The event begins at 3 PM with games and reminiscing, but there will be food vendors from the town and then the band, Brat Pack, with a large southern Illinois following will begin at 8 PM.  Beverages will be available for purchase.  Dlubala says this is a fundraising event and it replaces the banquet they used to have.  It is outdoors and they will have a very large tent with picnic tables, but people are welcome to bring a chair if they wish.  Tickets are available at the door on Saturday, but are cheaper in advance.  Call the Community Center at 327-8663 or visit Community Center of Nashville on facebook for the latest information.  Dlubala says last year there were people from a wide span of age groups and everyone is welcome.  Last year the tornado warning sirens warned of strong winds, but this year is expected to be tamer weatherwise.
