An announcement was made at the last Nashville High School football game that no play is allowed around the football game. According to Athletic Director Neil Hamon, the change was made for this football season and it was not an Illinois High School Association decision. It was a school decision as the problem has become a liability issue and they don’t want anyone to get hurt. He went on to say that they would appreciate parents’ help in the implementation of the policy. They aren’t saying the kids can’t move about, just that they can’t be in places they shouldn’t and ask for the parents to keep an eye on their children. It will be especially important at tonight’s Homecoming game against Pinckneyville and the large crowd expected.
