The Nashville High School Athletic Department didn’t have an athletic trainer at the beginning of the season, as they had usually worked with NovaCare, virtually across the street from the school, but they are no longer in Nashville, so Athletic Director Neil Hamon spent some time searching for someone to assist the students at practices and at games.  They finally found someone out of Saint Joseph’s in Breese with their training service.  He talked about how important such an individual is, preparing the athletes before practices and games.  He really got a workout with Hunter Schultze at Friday night’s football game against Pinckneyville, as Schultze had to be helped off the field on 2 occasions.
