A Green Party candidate who last year failed to win a southern Illinois congressional seat says she’s ready to try again.  The Southern Illinoisian reports Carbondale emergency room nurse Paula Bradshaw announced her candidacy for the 12th Congressional District seat on Tuesday.  It’s held by Belleville Democrat Bill Enyart.  Bradshaw got 6 percent of the more than 298,000 votes cast in the last election that also included Republican Jason Plummer.  Republican state Representative Mike Bost of Murphysboro announced his candidacy in July.  Bradshaw says she’ll continue campaigning on issues related to the U.S. military, foreign policy and the environment.  She cast the Democrats and Republicans as “corporate parties” with candidates who spend millions on campaign ads pressing that “more of the same is the way.”
