The Nashville Public Library has made some changes over the years and continues to go, including being open Mondays through Fridays from 10 AM to 7 PM, while open on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM.  Library Director Linda Summers gives a rundown of the yearly summary on the library.  There are 3,258 people in Nashville, as of the 2010 census, but more than that visited with over 22,292 visits.  There are 1,395 people that are registered borrowers and this includes Nashville, but others throughout the county and elsewhere with a card.  Summers says they loaned out 19,758 materials and they have plenty to borrow.  They also have public access computers that anyone, even without a library card, can come in to use.  Library cards are free to those in Nashville with proof of residency, but others can get a card for $60, which gets them into the Illinois Heartland Library System as well, which consists of about 428 libraries in the state.  For more information, contact the Nashville Library at 327-3827 or at www.nashville.lib.il.us.
