An Okawville man was in the Washington County Jail, but has been bailed out. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, they took 51-year old Steven P. Koepke into custody Wednesday, as he had an outstanding warrant on a Probation Violation. When he was taken into custody, he allegedly had a syringe and so he was then charged with Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. Bond for the warrant was $7,500, while bond on the syringe charge was $1,500. He was bailed out with $900 total. He was on probation relating to a Reckless Conduct charge from a domestic disturbance on March 28, 2013.
