The Nashville Police Department answered a dozen calls in the past two weeks, not including many accidents.  Calls ranged from a gas drive off without paying to trespassing to a couple of domestic disputes at an address on the 900 block of South Buhrman Street.  On November 14^th, they responded to a call of a car on fire on the 400 block of North Broadway as 53-year old Tommy Powell was working on it.  The Fire Department was dispatched and extinguished the fire.  There was no mention of any injuries.  Also, 35-year old Lachuanda V. Fields of Washington Park, Illinois was stopped and cited for Driving While License Suspended and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.  The police did respond to 8 accidents with many involving a deer.
