The deadline has come and past for those wishing to run for election on the March ballot.  It is not official, as there are some exceptions and possible disputes on signatures accumulated, but as of now the Washington County Clerk & Recorder Office has released the names of those registered to be in the election.  Only Republican Nancy Heseman is running for County Clerk.  Republicans Kelly Cameron and Andrea Renken are running for County Treasurer, while Democrat Nancy “Sprehe” Eigenrauch is the only candidate.  There are 2 Republicans running for Sheriff, that being Danny Bradac and Michael Renth, while Democrat Harry Berger is unopposed.  No Democrat is running for County Assessor, but 2 Republicans are, that being Sharon Harre Mewes and incumbent Sharon Kolweier.    Tomorrow we’ll have the County Board races.
