The Saint Louis Rams lost 27 to 9 to the Seattle Seahawks yesterday.  They finish the season at 7 and 9.

The Saint Louis Blues beat the Dallas Stars 3 to 2 in overtime yesterday and beat the Chicago Blackhawks 6 to 5 in a shootout on Saturday night.

In the Mater Dei boys’ basketball tournament over the weekend, the Nashville Hornets beat Highland 49 to 39, but lost to Edgewater 46 to 32 and to Mater Dei 51 to 38.  The Okawville Rockets lost to Edgewater 47 to 41 and to Highland 53 to 46.  The finals are today we’ll broadcast all of them live on the V and v1047.com.  The 9^th place game is at 12 noon with Mascoutah versus Highland.  7^th place follows with Nashville against Carlyle and 5^th place is after that with Briarcrest versus Mater Dei.  The 3^rd place game is at 6:30 with Okawville against Central and the title game is at 8 as Sacred Heart Griffin takes on Edgewater.

The Nashville Hornettes took home the 3^rd Place Trophy from the Mascoutah Girls’ Tournament.  On Saturday, Belleville West beat Nashville in the semi-finals 30 to 28, but the Hornettes then beat Mater Dei for 3^rd place 28 to 25.    The Okawville Lady Rockets were eliminated in the consolation bracket Friday by Althoff 48 to 42.
