Updating a story from yesterday, police in southwestern Illinois say an 83-year old woman whose body was found behind a Belleville business had dementia and likely succumbed to freezing temperatures after wandering away from her home and falling.  The Belleville News-Democrat reports that police say an autopsy on Roxie Simpson’s body determined she died from hypothermia.  Authorities say the woman was found wearing a black pajama top with a red heart pattern, white pajama pants with a pink design, white tennis shoes, a thin gold band on her left ring finger and stud earrings.  Her body was found about ten blocks from her home, where she lived alone but had relatives nearby.  Foul play isn’t suspected in Simpson’s death.
