The Memorial Park Board of Trustees met last night.  Nashville Mayor Raymond Kolweier made a presentation to the Board on seeking support for the application for the Enterprise Zone.  The Mayor has been making the rounds to the entities that are in the Enterprise Zone, as the current contract expires in 2016 and a new application needs to be in by mid-2014.  The Board voted to support this endeavor with a letter of support.  Part of the roof to the pool building was damaged in the recent winds and finally blew over and part of it landed on the pool deck.  The damage was assessed and the insurance company came out.  The Board will get estimates on fixing it, as well as possibly replacing some sections that are getting bad.  There have been 10 to 11 applications that came back for the groundskeeper vacancy.  The Board went through them in executive session and will narrow it down to a few.  They will then set up and conduct interviews.  They also approved the Fiscal Year 2013 audit as completed by Krehbiel & Associates.  The cost was $2,100.  The Board also approved Krehbiel to perform this year’s audit at a cost not to exceed $2,150.
