The Nashville Police Department responded to 13 calls and 3 accidents in the past week.  According to the reports, these calls included a burglary on the 400 block of West Saint Louis Street, a harassment call, a welfare check, reports of suspicious activity, threats reported on the 800 block of North Kaskaskia Street, a suicide threat, a child custody dispute, assisting a motorist and assisting the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with an unwanted subject.  Three of the accidents involved fender benders.  One was last Monday on the parking lot of Dreas Family Chiropractic at 140 South Mill Street.  Another was last Thursday on the back parking lot of Nashville High School and the third was last Sunday night on the Nascote parking lot.  Also, a report was included from January 24th, when 18-year old Kennedy Vogt was driving on Illinois Route 127, just north of Enterprise Avenue, when he struck a deer. There have been many accident reports from this area involving deer, so pay particular attention when driving through this area when dark.  There were no injuries reported for any of these accidents.
