The Nashville Public Library has a couple of winter through spring programs for young children.  One of those begins tomorrow and is the Lap Sit program for children birth through 3 or 4 years old.  Library Director Linda Summers says it is simple stories with music and movement activities, because of that age group.  Summers also says Stephanie Goedken, the Library Assistant presents the program and she has some great ideas and gets the kids moving and involved in reading, which is the reason why the library is there.  Children must be accompanied by an adult, but it is free.  It happens each Thursday night through April 10th from 6 to 6:30 PM.  There are a limited amount of spaces for the Lap Sit program, so pre-register now.  Call 327-3827 for more information or to register.
