The Oakdale Grade School Board of Education met Monday night and they discussed the snow days used and what they would do to make it up.  According to Superintendent Ryan Wamser, they agreed to have school on March 3rd, Casimir Pulaski Day, as well as shortening Spring Break.  School will be out for the Friday before Easter only, as all the originally scheduled days off at that time will be school days.  They have had 11 snow days this school year, with only 5 scheduled per year.  The rest had to be made up.  That will mean the school did not use any Act of God days, but the winter isn’t over yet.  Wamser made the announcement to the staff and put the information on the website yesterday.
