The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was very busy this past week.  They responded to 13 calls, 6 assist motorist calls and 10 accidents.  Calls involved abandoned vehicles, arrests on outstanding warrants, domestic disputes, transporting a prisoner, loose sheep, a downed road sign, a burglar alarm in Ashley, a juvenile problem in Addieville and property damage reports.  On Saturday, they arrested 37-year old Jacquelyn Laffoon of Irvington for a DUI and Improper Lane Usage.  Scott Hamburg of Wamac was arrested on an outstanding Washington County warrant, while 24-year old Jay Rines, Junior of Keyesport was transferred to the Washington County Jail from Clinton County on an outstanding Washington County warrant.
