This week is National FFA Week and the Nashville FFA is celebrating all week long.  Today is dress up day and the milk jug chugging contest.  Plus, the Greenhands will be making their shirts.  There will be trivia over the sound system through the school each morning that students can call in to win.  President and Public Relations Manager Morgan Dodson runs through tomorrow’s events.  It is Camo Day, so members will be wearing their camo clothing.  She says they are doing something new this year to show their thanks for all the teachers’ support and help with a luncheon, instead of desserts after school.  It will be catered by Buretta’s Bar & Grill and there will also be desserts.  The idea is to reach more teachers, as some are not able to attend due to after school activities.  Those jars with soybeans, corn kernels and wheat kernels will still be there that students can guess how many are in each jar.  The winner will be announced on Friday.  Anyone can join FFA, so find out by talking to an FFA member during the week to find out more.
