FFA Week is wrapping up tomorrow at Nashville High School, but today is Tractor Day, where members can drive their tractor to school, but have to be there by 8:30 AM.  There will also be a cookout for lunch.  President and Public Relations Manager Morgan Dodson runs through Friday’s events.

They dress in their bright FFA shirts and have the morning trivia contest, but also have trivia in the classroom.  They give out appreciation certificates to the teachers for their support throughout the year.  Dodson says many teachers do hang these up and the students are happy to see them.  Also, it is Initiation Day for the Greenhands, or first year members.  They will announce the winners of the closest guesses as to how many soybeans, corn kernels or wheat kernels are in each jar.  Just because FFA Week ends on Friday, it is never too late to find out how to get involved in FFA.  Just ask one of the members.
