The Illinois High School Association has announced the names of the 13 boys and 13 girls who have been named to the All-State Academic Team. One of them being Nashville High School senior Shawn Rennegarbe. IHSA Executive Director, Marty Hickman, says this is a “tremendous honor” in which nominees needed to possess a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4 point scale, have participated in at least 2 IHSA sponsored sports or activities for the last 2 years and demonstrate outstanding citizenship. Rennegarbe and the other students will be honored at a banquet in Bloomington on April 21st. She is the 3rd such IHSA Academic All-Stater from Nashville High School, as she joins Elizabeth Reeder and Jennifer Moeller.
