The Nashville Police Department responded to a call last Tuesday to an address on the 100 block of East David Drive, as there was a report of a 911 hang-up call.  An officer made contact with 24-year old Trey Bax of Cedar Hill, Missouri at a residence, who said he accidentally hit the emergency dial on his cell phone.  Upon checking up on Bax, he was found to have a Saint Louis County warrant outstanding on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, so he was taken into custody.  Drug paraphernalia was also allegedly found on his body upon him being taken into custody.  He was charged with Possession of Drug Equipment and pled guilty on Thursday.  He will serve 12 months with court supervision and pay $750 in fines and costs.  Later that evening, they responded to a traffic incident at Si Vallet Sales, as a Pepsi delivery truck, driven by 29-year old Douglas Dearing of Mount Vernon, allegedly struck the side of the building, causing damage to the building.  No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.  On Wednesday, they located at suspicious vehicle behind Gutzler’s Furniture.  They took 34-year old Dwaine McDonald of DuQuoin into custody on a charge of Criminal Trespass to Property.  On Friday, the NPD responded to a residence on the 100 block of East Chester in reference to a domestic disturbance.  45-year old Todd D. Strickland of that address in Nashville, allegedly struck his girlfriend, 46-year old Rebecca A. Hale of Tennessee.  He was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Battery.  Bond has been set at $3,000 and is not to have any contact with Hale.  He also has a warrant for Aggravated Domestic Assault and False Imprisonment from Sullivan County in Tennessee.  The NPD also responded to a brush fire on Friday on East Briarwood Court Street.  There was an accident they responded to on Thursday at the intersection of East Saint Louis and South Kaskaskia Streets.  A vehicle driven by an 18-year old female from Oakdale, backed into a vehicle driven by 69-year old Ronnie Schorfheide of Nashville.  The female was cited for giving false information, while exchanging information and insurance information.  They also conducted a welfare check on Saturday.
