Last month, Nashville FFA member, Morgan Dodson attended the Illinois State Job Interview Career Development Event and she placed 9^th overall.  This contest is designed to help members enhance their interviewing skills for obtaining agriculture jobs in the future.  To qualify for the state contest, members had to first compete in the district contest and place within the top four.  Members competing in the contest submitted a resume and cover letter prior to the contest based on an agricultural job they are currently capable of obtaining with their skill set.  At the event, members completed an application, participated in a phone interview, a personal interview, and then wrote a follow-up letter.
