The Saint Louis Blues lost 4 to 1 to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, which extended their losing streak to 2 games, but Brian Elliot and the Blues shut out the Pittsburgh Penguins 1 to nothing yesterday. 

The Nashville Hornette softball team beat Waltonville 14 to 4 in 5 innings and shutout Dupo 7 to nothing on Saturday. 

The Nashville Hornet baseball team opened the season with a couple of victories against Rockford Lutheran over the weekend.  They won 9 to 5 on Friday night and 11 to 1 in 5 innings on Saturday afternoon.  The Hornets play this afternoon against Trico at 4:30 and the game is on the V and v1047.com.
