Gas prices are still going up this past week, but just a penny.  The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is at $3.53.  The average a year ago was $3.65, but the average for a gallon of regular gas in Illinois is now at $3.73, so while the national average went up, the state average dropped 4 cents.
