The Post Office in Nashville will be having work done to the stairs in front of the building, as part of it is roped off.  The Nashville Police Department responded to an accident at the intersection of South Kaskaskia and Adams Streets on Wednesday.  According to the report, a car driven by 53-year old Diana Kurwicki of Nashville stopped at the stop sign on Adams Street.  She pulled out, but due to parked vehicles blocking her view, she did not see an oncoming pick-up truck driven by 51-year old Rodney Small on South Kaskaskia Street.  Her car struck the truck near the rear and caused it to spin out of control.  The truck left the road and struck the entrance steps to the Post Office, causing the damage there.  No one was injured and no citations were issued.
